If you’re looking for an out-and-out “party” band in every sense of the word, then look no further than The SoundTrax. They are known for getting off the stage and on to the dance floor with your guests! Lead guitarist Jim and frontman Rich are both totally wireless – your guests will be blown away as guitar solos and vocal runs take place on the dance floor in front of them!  They have also been known to get full conga lines led by Jim round the whole room.  Meanwhile, Rich likes to get out and test your guest’s vocal skills on certain songs – watch out, some of the notes are high!

The band’s setlist is extremely diverse and there is something in there for everybody so your guest will be up on the dancefloor partying with the band for as long as their feet can take it!

    The Soundtrax played at our anniversary party last night and were absolutely AWESOME!!! We had the best night with the guys, their set list was spot on, each member of the band was brilliant and they were clearly enjoying themselves but not as much as my britpop-obsessed husband who was allowed to make a special guest appearance as Liam Gallagher.     The Soundtrax played at our wedding on Saturday at The Blythswood Hotel, Glasgow and they were absolutely amazing. They had something for everyone and had the room and dance floor bouncing throughout the night. Took the time to learn a good number of our requests which we were delighted with too. FAQ

  • How long do you play for? – Our standard set is between 8pm-12am with a 45min break for weddings and generally 9pm-12am for events.
  • Do you provide background music on your break? – Of course! If you would rather have your own playlist, you can make up your own on Spotify and we’ll download it to one of our devices for you. Otherwise just leave it to us.
  • What time will you arrive to set up? – We typically arrive at 6:30pm, ready for a 7pm setup and sound check for most weddings. For events, we can provide an earlier set-up where possible. We need 60 minutes to get everything ready to rock!
  • Will you learn our first dance? – Absolutely. We are happy to learn a first dance request free of charge – all we ask is a minimum of 30 days notice so we have time to get it sounding great! Some of our couples ask that we play the original track for their first dance. We’re happy to accommodate this too, should you wish.
  • Can we choose what songs you play? – As soon as your booking is confirmed then you will be able to access Elite’s ‘Backstage Pass’ area. There you can pick a few tracks from our setlist that you definitely want us to perform – and also a few tracks that you want us to avoid. That will give us a great blueprint for your likes/dislikes, and you can trust us to fill in the gaps and keep the floor full all night long!
  • Can you set up before the meal? – Depending on availability, we can get set up in the afternoon. If we are able to and if this is something you would like, we have an early set up fee to cover the extra time involved.
  • Can we hear you live before our wedding/event? – Definitely! We regularly perform at Elite Bands showcases in Glasgow. If you aren’t able to make it along to one of those then just get in touch.If we have any public gigs coming up then we can invite you along to one of those, and if not then we’ll bring you in to one of our rehearsals for you. We have the will, so there’s always a way!
