The Get Down are an incredible live band with two amazing lead singers! They play a massive range of music but specialise in anything with a great groove! Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake are all up these guys street! Check out their set list to see what other songs these guys can play!

There are many wedding bands in Scotland. But there are very few bands like The Get Down. If you are looking a band that is incredible at Soul, Motown, Funk, old School disco, R&B then these guys are for you! A truly class covers band in every way!

The band formed in 2017 and have played at countless weddings and corporate events over the past few years. They are incredibly passionate about every wedding and event they perform at their professionalism is outstanding.

How long do you play for? – “For weddings we normally play from 8pm-12am with a break and corporate events from 9pm-12am with a break. We can extend these timings with DJ set’s.”
Do you provide background music on your break? – “Yes”
What time would you arrive to set up? – “We would arrive at 6.30pm and set up from 7pm-8pm for most events. Corporate events normally 5pm-6pm”
Will you learn our first dance? – “Yes, we are happy to learn a first dance but can also provide the original version if preferred”
Can we choose what songs you play? – “Yes, there is a custom set list builder available when booking the band”
Can you set up before the meal? – “Yes, there is an early set up fee available if requested”
Can we hear you live before our wedding/event? – “We play several live performances through the year and clients and potential clients are welcome to come!”
