A band with serious credentials, The Brightside were one of only three acts chosen to perform centre pitch at Murrayfield for the Six Nations Rugby, entertaining a 60,000-strong crowd and getting the stadium jumping.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to The Brightside for last night. The dancefloor was packed for the whole set until we had to abruptly end due to the fire alarm. If you are looking for a band for your wedding then look no further. The Brightside are the best band I have ever heard at a wedding. They played at our sons wedding on Saturday 17th November at The Marcliffe and from the first song to the last the dance floor was never empty. Selena was able to gauge the atmosphere in the room so well and we danced to every type of music . I think the Orcadian Strip the Willow May have been a step too far for some of us. 😜 The amount of sore throats at breakfast the next morning was testament to the amount of singing that went on. The sing off that went in to the Hokey Cokey was something else. I am sorry I didn’t get the chance to thank you in person on Saturday night. Absolutely incredible!!! Our dance floor was never empty from the minute the band started playing which is always a sign of a good night. If you are looking for a wedding band or a party band in general you HAVE to book these guys. We had the upmost pleasure in having them play at my wedding - which went off bug time with our guest - especially the 90s dance set!! Well what can I say..... you guys were simply the best at our wedding on the 16th November 🙂 The dancefloor was jumping all night and no one wanted it to end! Thank you so much to The Brightside for an amazing night at our wedding on Friday. Can’t recommend them enough, had the dance floor full all night and played a great variety of songs. All of our guests have been raving about them, they created a party atmosphere from the start. Selina has an amazing voice and their version of our first dance song was just perfect! So The Brightside performed at our wedding in September and wow what a night we all had. Right from the start the band had our guests involved and the dance floor was never empty. What an absolutely fantastic dancing night we had last night (Sloanes 08/11/19. Our daughter and new son-in-law’s wedding). This band are everything rolled into one! Variety of music genres is huge, Selina can go from the voice of an angel to some raunchy rock and techno dance with everything- and I mean EVERYTHING in between! I defy anyone to say they don’t suit your style of party. Go see them live if you can as I watched some of their videos after the party and really, the live on the night party version is so much better. Don’t waste your time looking for anyone else. Hi selina, just wanted to say a massive thank you to you all again for being such an amazing band, we loved the entire night. Everyone is still talking to us about how great you all were & how you guys were the best wedding band they’ve ever heard. We couldn’t have loved the night anymore & I honestly don’t think I stopped dancing for most of it. Your version of our first dance song will forever be our favourite. I was the Father of the Bride on 18th April at the Cow Shed Crail. Personally, I’m from a family of seven. Weddings play a large part of my life with loads of nephews and nieces. This band are brilliant. Their energy is off the charts. Their quality is amazing as is their range. I will find it hard to forget the conga line to the Proclaimers song I’m Gonna Be. Wow wow wow!!! when you have the crowd partying like this before you even enter your own dance! 🙌🏼💃🏼🕺🏼 and it just got wilder as the night went on! What an absolutely incredible evening we had at our Wedding thanks to the super talented Brightside Party Band! I originally heard this band at a friends Wedding a few years back and knew I had to book them when it was my turn! The whole booking process was a breeze from start to finish with very quick and helpful responses throughout. We hired the brightside for our wedding on the 4th of May 2022. Right from start to finish, they were so accommodating and they absolutely nailed everything we asked of them. From the moment they began their set, they had everyone moving and shaking. There was no point that the dance floor didn't have people on it and Selina and the guys made sure that the atmosphere was electric the entire time they were there. If you actually want a party! BOOK THE BRIGHTSIDE! These guys were incredible! I’ve never been to a wedding before where the dance floor was bouncing from the first to the last song, all our guests had an amazing time (and are still saying to us how insane our wedding band was 😉) we honestly couldn’t have dreamed of a better band to play at our wedding. Thank you all so much ❤️ would 110% recommend 😁

Amazing!!! The Brightside were our wedding band on 30/07/22 and had the dance floor filled from the moment they were on until the moment they left. We booked the Brightside all the way back in 2019 and we had spent the past few years talking them up to friends and family and they did not disappoint! Within the first hour of the set most of our guests had commented to us on how good they were and it is one thing everyone mentions when talking about the wedding. We got married on Saturday, and would just like to say how absolutely incredible The Brightside were! From start to finish, they created something SO special and unforgettable.. the dance floor was packed and absolutely electric all night! It was an incredible experience for us and all of our guests and we can’t stop talking about it! At the beginning, the band got the crowd going, engaged and up for it, and this set the tone for the rest of the night, which was one hell of a party! We loved every minute and couldn’t recommend the band more-not only are they incredible musicians who will create the most amazing unforgettable experience, they’re lovely people too who couldn’t be nicer to work with! We booked Brightside Party Band to play at our wedding after our original band cancelled on us, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise as they were absolutely amazing!! Our guests are still saying how great they were and had the dance floor filled all night. Would highly recommend them if your looking for a great night with a jam packed dance floor - Dawn Taylor

How long do you play for? - “Our standard set is between 8pm-12am with a 30min break for weddings and generally 9pm-12am for events”
Do you provide background music on your break? - “We do indeed, we put on a playlist, however, if you have your own iPod you want to plug in that also works for us!”
What time would you arrive to set up? - “We would arrive at 6.30pm and set up from 7pm-8pm for most events.”
Will you learn our first dance? - “We will indeed, we need around 1 month notice to have time and we do our best to learn the request, however, on occasion the song isn’t suitable for the band to do live and we offer to play the original version instead”
Can we choose what songs you play? - “We always request as much flexibility for us to develop the set on the night but you can choose a few requests and anti-requests in the member's area after you have us booked!”
Can you set up before the meal? - “Yup, we can get set up in the afternoon but we have an early set up fee to cover the extra time involved”
Can we hear you live before our wedding/event? - “Please do! Coming to one of our showcase gigs and say hi! It’s always lovely to meet brides, grooms and clients before the event!”
Do you play in venues with sound limiters? - “We are happy to play at venues with sound limiters and always do our best to perform with as much energy as possible under the sound restrictions. Some venues have more sensitive sound restrictions that others but we always have great parties whatever the situation is!”
