Just wanted to say a huge thank you to The Brightside for last night. The dancefloor was packed for the whole set until we had to abruptly end due to the fire alarm. If you are looking for a band for your wedding then look no further. The Brightside are the best band I have ever heard at a wedding. They played at our sons wedding on Saturday 17th November at The Marcliffe and from the first song to the last the dance floor was never empty. Selena was able to gauge the atmosphere in the room so well and we danced to every type of music . I think the Orcadian Strip the Willow May have been a step too far for some of us. 😜 The amount of sore throats at breakfast the next morning was testament to the amount of singing that went on. The sing off that went in to the Hokey Cokey was something else. I am sorry I didn’t get the chance to thank you in person on Saturday night. Absolutely incredible!!! Our dance floor was never empty from the minute the band started playing which is always a sign of a good night. We had the upmost pleasure in having them play at my wedding - which went off bug time with our guest - especially the 90s dance set!! So The Brightside performed at our wedding in September and wow what a night we all had. Right from the start the band had our guests involved and the dance floor was never empty. What an absolutely fantastic dancing night we had last night (Sloanes 08/11/19. Our daughter and new son-in-law’s wedding). This band are everything rolled into one! Variety of music genres is huge, Selina can go from the voice of an angel to some raunchy rock and techno dance with everything- and I mean EVERYTHING in between! I defy anyone to say they don’t suit your style of party. Go see them live if you can as I watched some of their videos after the party and really, the live on the night party version is so much better. Don’t waste your time looking for anyone else. I was the Father of the Bride on 18th April at the Cow Shed Crail. Personally, I’m from a family of seven. Weddings play a large part of my life with loads of nephews and nieces. This band are brilliant. Their energy is off the charts. Their quality is amazing as is their range. I will find it hard to forget the conga line to the Proclaimers song I’m Gonna Be. What an absolutely incredible evening we had at our Wedding thanks to the super talented Brightside Party Band! I originally heard this band at a friends Wedding a few years back and knew I had to book them when it was my turn! We hired the brightside for our wedding on the 4th of May 2022. Right from start to finish, they were so accommodating and they absolutely nailed everything we asked of them. From the moment they began their set, they had everyone moving and shaking. There was no point that the dance floor didn't have people on it and Selina and the guys made sure that the atmosphere was electric the entire time they were there. I’ve never been to a wedding before where the dance floor was bouncing from the first to the last song, all our guests had an amazing time (and are still saying to us how insane our wedding band was 😉) we honestly couldn’t have dreamed of a better band to play at our wedding. Amazing!!! The Brightside were our wedding band on 30/07/22 and had the dance floor filled from the moment they were on until the moment they left. We booked the Brightside all the way back in 2019 and we had spent the past few years talking them up to friends and family and they did not disappoint! Within the first hour of the set most of our guests had commented to us on how good they were and it is one thing everyone mentions when talking about the wedding.
