The band has brilliant female and male lead singers, guitar, bass and drums. Their reputation for creating incredible parties is second to none and their live reviews are brilliant! Chasing Lights play everything from Pop, Soul, Rock, Indie, Country, Dance Music and 80’s bangers! They really are a one band fit’s all kind of band! Just a little message to say thank you to Chasing Lights for doing an amazing job at our Wedding on 4th July 2015 at Broxmouth Park. So many guests were up dancing all night and we didn't want them to stop! Everyone commented on how fabulous they were! Our friends have mentioned booking them for their weddings too. HOW LONG DO YOU PLAY FOR?
- WE PLAY A STANDARD 8PM-12AM LIVE SET WITH A 30 MINUTE BREAK.
  FOR SPECIAL CORPORATE EVENTS TIMES ARE NEGOTIABLE
  WE CAN ALSO PLAY A DJ SET FROM 12AM-1AM, VENUE PERMITTING.
DO YOU PROVIDE BACKGROUND MUSIC ON YOUR BREAK?
- ABSOLUTELY! SHOULD THE BRIDE AND GROOM HAVE ANY SPECIFIC REQUESTS, WE HAVE A PLAYLIST THAT WE CAN ADD TO AND CHANGE. OR IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN IPOD YOU CAN PLUG INTO OUR PA.
  WHAT TIME WOULD YOU ARRIVE TO SET UP?
  WE USUALLY LIKE TO GET TO THE VENUE AT AROUND 6.30PM FOR A 7PM SET UP.
WILL YOU LEARN OUR FIRST DANCE?
- OF COURSE! WE ASK COUPLES TO PLEASE GIVE THE BAND A MINIMUM OF 1 MONTH, PRIOR TO THE EVENT TO LEARN THE MATERIAL. SOMETIMES IF THE SONG IS HEAVILY ORCHESTRATED OR PRODUCED AND NOT SUITABLE FOR THE BAND TO PLAY LIVE, THEN WE MIGHT SUGGEST THE ORIGINAL VERSION BE PLAYED INSTEAD. WE WILL PROVIDE THE VERSION YOU WISH TO DANCE TO UNLESS YOU HAVE A PARTICULAR VERSION IN MIND THAT CANNOT BE DOWNLOADED. IN WHICH CASE WE ASK THAT YOU EMAIL THE TRACK TO US IN ADVANCE.
CAN WE CHOOSE WHAT SONGS WE PLAY?
- WE ASK FOR AS MUCH FLEXIBILITY TO DEVELOP THE SETS ON THE NIGHT. YOU CAN PICK SONGS YOU WOULD MOST LIKE TO HEAR FROM THE REPERTOIRE WE HAVE PROVIDED.
  ONCE YOU HAVE BOOKED US, YOU MAY SUGGEST TWO NEW SONGS FOR THE BAND TO LEARN.
CAN YOU SET UP BEFORE THE MEAL?
- YES BUT THERE IS AN EARLY SET UP FEE TO COVER THE TIME INVOLVED.
CAN WE HEAR YOU BEFORE OUR WEDDING/EVENT?
- YES – COME FIND US AT ONE OF THE SHOWCASE GIGS AND FEEL FREE TO COME AND CHAT
DO YOU PLAY IN VENUES WITH SOUND LIMITERS?
- YES. BECAUSE WE ARE A FOUR PIECE WE OFTEN FIND THE LIMITERS VERY WORKABLE. WHERE THERE ARE RESTRICTIONS, WE DO OUR ABSOLUTE BEST TO PERFORM WITH AS MUCH ENERGY AS POSSIBLE.
